Welcome to the Inari Grotto
So why the name Inari Grotto?
The simplest answer is this: I’m a Satanist who appreciates Japanese culture. But there’s more to it than that.
Inari is a shapeshifting fox spirit deity who embodies desire, indulgence, and ambiguity—especially gender ambiguity. Grotto refers both to ancient shrines and to the pre-internet tradition of Satanic meetups. Together, they represent a personal religious space, a place of grotesque beauty and subversive thought.
